Mar 2, 2014 5:19 AM in response to actionmarkerby MMGreene,Thanks for taking the time to illustrate that tip. I'm aware of the other voices available from Apple ... I'm looking for higher quality, commerical TTS voices. So far InfoVox appears to be best available for the Apple. Nuance Loquendo voices sound as good as Ivona, are Mac compatible, but I can't seem to find a way to purchase them for personal use.

May 25, 2016 1:00 PM in response to MMGreeneby applesuppnev,I know it's an old post. Still seems relevant to ask.
I've been using Ivona for 5 years on my Windows machine. It's really good. I love it. But I'm trying to get completely off of Windows and do everything on my Macbook Pro. I really don't want to keep doing 5 important things in a Windows virtual machine on my Mac, or I might as well just keep a Windows machine running.
So, MMGreene, it sounds like we have similar interests. What have you learned over the last couple years? Did you find a Mac TTS that is as good as Ivona?
