Logic Pro 9.1.8 projects crashing upon opening.

Hi

I have a crash every time I open some recently edited projects. Even the backups crash Logic and if I continue to try to open them I get the "curtain of death" and have to restart from the OS disk(after running disk utilities I see the familiar "invalid file count and invalid volume directory count").

I had taken a previous project and moved and deleted some older plugins and replaced them with Slate Virtual Console, Celemony, McDSP compressors and EQs. Every version back to the original crashes, which doesn't crash. Many hours of editing are lost.

I have crash logs and screen shots of the layout.

Any ideas? I have saved one copy(which won't open)the others were trashed. Anyway to force it to open and save my hours of work? I can duplicate most of the actions but I am afraid it would do the same again.

Thanks

Logic Studio, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 2x2.26 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
