It seems itunes has changed it's look since I was last there and I am unable to find the page that shows the info on my ipod touch as well as the oportunity to sync. Anyone have a helpful suggestion?

The problem may be that the sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden. To show it, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. The iPod appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES, where you can select it. With the sidebar visible, the latest iTunes (mostly) works like previous versions.
NOTE: When the sidebar is hidden, you get the "new look," but there is a device button near the upper right corner of the iTunes window. Click that button to select your iPod.
