how do I load a DVD from my computer drive to my itunes library for syncing?

Almost all commercial DVDs are encrypted. In order to copy them, you'd need to break that encryption. Because breaking that encryption is illegal in the U.S. and other countries, we can't discuss software or methods here.

If the DVD is not encrypted, use Handbrake to convert it.
