HELP IOS 7.0.6 BRICK

So, I have done this with my mom's iphone 4s back when it was ios 6.0.4 and i did it fine.

Now, i wanted to delete some app data and wanted to reset because i got my phone slow and i reset all contents and settings. All i need to do is restore my iphone 5s, but itunes fails and gives me a error 3014. I have a great internet connection, and i have checked and itunes connection was fine. Now my iphone 5s is stuck in recovery mode it says to connect to itunes. i tried installing a custom ipsw using itunes, but itunes doesnt allow that anymore. please help me quick. i need my phone back in working conditions. Also according to other sources ios 7.0.6 is buggy and itunes is making me install it and it fails. i need a way to fix.
