A friend of mine says her iPad is a generation 4, but there is no Siri on board. How does she get Siri?

Settings>General>Siri>Turn it ON. 🙂 Now, she just holds the home button, and Siri will come up.
Setup Siri
1. Settings>General>Siri>On
2. Language>English
3. My Info>Use default
5. Settings>Privacy>Location Service>Siri>On
Have her enter the model number here to find out which generation iPad she has:
There is no "Siri" listed in Settings, General. Not there. 😟
There is no "Siri" listed in Settings, General. That's the problem.
He/She probably have a iPad 2.
Check the model
Settings>General>About>Model
She does not live here. So the iPad isn't here either. Can't give you that info. I thank you for answering. 🙂
I'll try to get that info tomorrow. The owner doesn't live here. She has her own house. Good thing. My wife would be upset with a threesome. 😉
One other thought --
Siri may be restricted. Check Settings > General > Restrictions to make sure Siri is not restricted.
Thank you, Berman. Will check that out with her (the owner)...
