- App almost updated but screen goes white with some fine vertical colourd lines before it goes blank (black).

- Hour later progress bar has still not move!

- Clicked on x in window to quit

- ITunes Warning box appears

- clicked on 'Quit'

Iphone still displays logo & progress bar

Had to press power and home button, Screen before goes blank - Think this is DFU Mode?

Repeated this process several times!!

- Sometimes it show info box refering to Error 9

Have attempted the following solution but to no avail

- Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.

- Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.

- Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.

- When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.

Sadly the Connect to iTunes screen didnt appear !
