can i update my ipad air to ios 7.0.6 safely i heard that some devices stopped working completly after update

My iPad 4, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S updated without problems.

There is no problem updating, so update.

Depends what the problem is. In most cases , restore from backup.
If you have a problem report it here and you will get help.
Always a very few devices have problems with iOS update. Sounds like you were one of the very few.

i havent updated yet but i heard that some devices like ipad air and iphone 5s had problems with the update it looks like its a problem with the a7 64-bit processor
My iPad Air is not working properly after the update...
It returns to the home screen after tapping on certain apps, and or screens...
This was not happening prior to the update...
Gonna see a "genius" this weekend!!!
PS: Wish I could revert to the previous version, but no COMPUTER backup exists!!!
