Q: "SIM not valid"?

I bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4s. When I try and put my sim in, it tells me that the sim is not valid and that basically the phone does not support that network. I'm on tesco. What should I do? Thanks

Assuming that the phone was purchased directly from Apple (the only source for "Factory Unlocked" iPhones), and that Tesco is a supported carrier, you should obtain a different SIM from your provider and try again.

If as Steadman has said you purchased new from Apple UK ,the only source of non carrier locked iPhones in UK
then look at this

If however you purchased second hand you may have an iPhone locked to another Carrier
