Adobe Flash Video stopping after 3 seconds

Good morning

I have a 2012 MacBook Air running on OSX 10.9.2. When I'm playing a video while on Safari with Adobe flash player it stops after 3 seconds and can't be restarted..

I think this problem occurred shortly after the latest OSX update but can't be sure.

Any thoughts on how to proceed appreciated.
