iWork Pages XML file missing problem , and formatting messed up.

I tried the zip file solution but instead of a XML file inside the uncompressed folder, I get a index.zip file that uncompressed has a whole bunch of random folders , but no XML file anywhere in sight. Nothing with the index name , just folders and files.

I tried renaming the index.zip to index.xml and didn't work either. This was a duplicate file not the original pages file, and now for some reason my other pages documents open up but have really weird formatting on it. Someone help please. Btw this is pages 5.1 and the computer was updated to mavericks. It's an iMac 2010. Thank you.
