When will Apple stop to update the software of the iPhone 4? And when will developers stop to update apps for the iPhone 4?

They will never stop, because the updating meens more technology. Its very tired to be updating but is better. Program the app store, for the apps to get updated by themself. I mean they will get and actualization when you are not using them and while you have internet or wifi.
But I mean particulary for the iPhone 4. I know that apple stoped updating apps and software for the iPad 1, because it is a old device.
Apple does not make apps ( with the exception of a very few like pages and numbers). The app makers decide what to make their apps compatible with.
Apple just released a security update for the ipod touch 4th gen. Other than that, there are no other updates for it.
