why are some devices connection to the new extreme and others cannot?

I just bought a new extreme after reading some great reviews. But I am experiencing something that makes no sense. I have iPads, iPhones, Roku, Directv and others all usinging WiFi and all but one of the ipads (may be defected as I am bringing it in to apple today) and the directv will connect to my network.

I even tested my already connected devices by "forgetting" the network and restablishing them and they work without fail.

I bought 3 new iPad Air's and 2 connected no problem. The Roku... no problem. Playstation too.

The Direct Tv wifi was connected to the old extreme and worked but now it says, "security code not accepted" yet Iit's the correct code. Also 1 of the 3 iPad air's will not connect either. I did a reboot in recovery mode and reinstalled the IOS and still nothing. I reset the network and still nothing.

Can anyone help? Thanks!
