I too have the same issue, it started after 1 night when out the blue my iphone made the loudest noise for no reason. it was a distorted sound as if the tiny speaker inside was tearing itself to shreds. from the next day no audio output . I can hear people when i make a call but no ring tone or music plays or youtube video plays..
