When my friend who uses note 3 sends me a lengthy text it just won't come through. He needs to screenshot it and send me screenshot for me to get it. Shorter texts are fine. This just began. Any ideas??

Are the lengthy text messages successfully sent?
Text messages - SMS/MMS are exchanged via a carrier's cellular network only. Contact your carrier and if the sender is with a different carrier, he needs to contact his carrier.
No the lengthy ones ones that might usually be broken into 2 or three parts don't go through at all. The only way for me to get those us if he screen shots the lengthy text and send as an attachment and then it's fine.

SMS/MMS are exchanged via a carrier's cellular network only. This has notthing to do with your iPhone even if a lengthly text message were successfully sent.
OK we are different carriers I'm tmobile and he us verizon. Might this be the problem? Just so weird thus just began
Not sure where the problem lies, but it isn't with your iPhone. If anything, it is a problem with his phone since a lengthly text message can't be sent in the first place by his iPhone, but this is likley a carrier problem - more than likely with this carrier since a lenghtly text message can't be sent by his phone and carrier to begin with.
