I recently found my iPod shuffle 2nd generation and it doesnt seem to have the orange light while charging and when i plug it in my laptop itunes doesnt recognize it. Help would be appreciated! Thanks

Are you using the original USB docking cable that came with those shuffles? It has a mini-dock at the shuffle end. The cable for the current shuffle fits, but it does not work with a 2nd gen shuffle, because the connector is different.
