I am using iMovie 10.0.2 and have created a 1920x1080 home movie. I need some input:
1. What are my DVD burning Options? I want to retain the resolution so looking for Blu-Ray burning options.
2. How can I create and archive a file of the movie that can be later played on other Mac Devices? Share through iTunes? Where can I find the file when exported?

You need to buy an external BluRay burner and blank discs. DVD is standard definition.
In iMovie 10 you would "Share to File" and make sure the dimension choice is 1080.

thank you. once the 1080p file is creatwed how do I burn it to DVD? depends on S/W?
Conversion is done with the Blu Ray authoring software.
