But then someone may come along and prove me wrong!

Mac OS XHow, exactly, does the Firewire port on the iMac act as a video input? I know that Thunderbolt ports are compatible as mini DisplayPorts but Firewire? Do you have a link to an Apple document outlining the procedure for using a 2009 iMac as a monitor for a MacBook Pro?

Mac OS XWhat kind of 'converter'? I'm not trying to be dense - I'm just unaware of any Thunderbolt to Firewire cable that could carry video?
