Question

How to restrict home sharing access to content? (i.e movies, tv shows, etc.)

How do you restrict home sharing access? I know I can limit playlists from shared libraries and I can disable viewing movies, but how do you disable being able to see content from a home shared library?

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

It would be a bit of a kludge, but you could set up a "Public library" for other folks to share from, and a "Private library" containing the things only you want to look at (or listen to).
