Screen does not rotate?

Check rotation lock in Control Center or Side Switch.

There are some apps that don't rotate, so if it only does it part of the time that could be why.

If it's all the time, next to the volume rockers is a switch that can be a rotation lock. Try switching that to see if it rotates.

In the settings, general, you can choose what that switch does, all mute or rotation lock.
