Please advise what alternative do I have? I am trying to unlock my old Iphone 3S, which was replaced by my current Iphone 4S. The old SIM card, which AT&T requires me to insert into the 3S is no longer available.

Can anyone give me advice as what can I do to resolve my issue?

I am trying to unlock my Iphone 3GS, which was replaced by my current Iphone 4S more than 1 year ago.

I sent in my request to my carrier, AT&T and was approved to do so, but I was asked

to insert my old SIM card, which is no longer available.

Anything I can do? I have not tried to contact AT&T (still is my carrier) yet.

Insert an AT&T SIM card, it does not have to be the original SIM card.

I will try your suggestion when I return to USA. However, this does raise another issue. Right now I have

Iphone 4S and the SIM is the smaller type and old large SIM card was thrown away. Anyway, I will have to

ask AT&T to see if they are willing to help out.

Use a SIM adaptor, they are extremely inexpensive. Or borrow a SIM from someone else with AT&T service.
