where are the stickies stored in time machine?

I had to reinstall my MacBook Pro but becaue the problem seemed to be software failure I could not use the Time Machine Back up to do the reinstallation. I have found everything now apart from the Stickies - are they not backed up by Time Machine? If there are then where are they!!

Sorry I dont understand this. I get the holding down the option key and selecting Go>Library and I can see the hidden library icon. BUT this is for on my laptop and not on the Time Machine backup

My question is where on the TM backup can I find the stickies database. An IT person yesterday could not find it either despite searching on the internet for an answer!

Is that clear? I want to find the stickies saved on the TM backup which is on an external hard drive!

Ok I am sorry but i am not an IT genius and therefore I do not understand your language. What do you mean by enter Time Machine? The stickies I presume are stored in the TM backups on my external hard drive - but I cant find where.

What do you mean by "select the snapshot of the folder from which you want to restore?"

Is it possible to write an idiot's guide please!!
