Faulty Code

This may have been covered already, but if so I missed it.

"Apple released a patch on Friday for its iOS mobile platform but has yet to fix the problem for desktop computers, which often have several applications that rely on the faulty code library, called Secure Transport.

Those include Apple’s Mail, FaceTime, Calendar, Keynote, the Safari browser, iBooks and its Software Update applications"

I understand that a patch has been issued for Mavericks but I haven't had a software update notification for Snow Leopard - or have we just been thrown to the wolves?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Thanks to both Stedman 1 and Mike Sombrio. I raised the issue as I understand that Apple are no longer issuing security updates for SL. It's possible that I will be upgrading my machine later this year, but in common with many other users, I think SL is absolutely for what I do.

Thanks again and regards
