Search in my contacts app is not working, any ideas?
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.6

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Contacts application. To troubleshoot these issues, let’s force the app to close, then restart your device:

Yeah - that doesn't work
I had the same problem, but fixed it
Backed up iphone & contacts
Then in Settings / icloud, I deselected sync 'Contacts'
You then get a prompt. Select 'Delete all contacts on phone'
Then go back into Settings / icloud
Select 'Contacts' again, and it will merge your phone and icloud contacts
and hey presto, the search works properly!
