Apologies for the stupid question (if it is?). I have just updated itunes and now see an unfamilar inteface and different controls for account etc etc.

The question is.....I just want to add a MacBook as authorised for use with iTunes account, a simple task you would consider - however I have spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON THIS....why have thing changed for no good reason except vanity(?) or just to infuriate users who thought they had their life sorted!!

All forunms seem to identify the older variant of iTunes so I am flailing about with what appears no hope of resolving this after a cursory google search....any kind soul(s) able to offer direction or solace?

Ta very much

Go to iTunes menu bar/Store and click authorize this computer. You are allowed 5 devices, if you have maxed out you will need to deauthorize a device.

You can do thus by going to another device and clicking deauthothorize this device.

You can also go to iTunes Store in the left column, clic thatthen click on your account (Usuually toy email) in the toof the iTuness page (you will have to enter you Apple ID)

Under Itunes in the the clound you can click manage devices.
