How do I change audio output port into audio input in Macbook Pro, using Windows 7...??

I've been trying to connect my Karok Electric Guitar to my Macbook Pro 13'inch using guitar cable having a 3.5mm converter to the tip...But when I plug it into my MBP, it recognizes that as a headphone 😕...I saw threads showing how to change it but all of 'em are fixes for Mac OS X, 😐 which I am not currently using...
