My iphone account button disappeared. How can I get it back?

It has been working recently. Today I opened it and cannot find the option. I've looked at similar posts in hopes of solving my problem but none seems to be working. On settings>notes>default account it was originally set to on my iphone. I didn't care if the notes I set up on my iphone would only be local. But now I cannot see my notes from the other devices and accounts I had set up when I originally could. I have not set up any new accounts so I don't know why it's like this. Unlike the other posts I saw, I can change default account. But no matter what I did, changing the default account to my yahoo account, iCloud, or Gmail, no notes from those accounts appear when I go back to notes app. I've reset my iphone, switch the on and off button, deleted and added back my account to experiment and add new notes to see if it would synch between devices to no avail. If someone can find the answer to my question, thanks soo much.
