    Hi eskatira,

    Welcome to the Support Communities!

You are referring to the correct article regarding using different Apple ID's for different services.  Please review this article again, specifically the Frequently Asked Questions so that you have a thorough understanding of your options.

It sounds like you want to create your own Apple ID for your iCloud services (contacts, calendars, etc.) AND your iTunes Store purchases.
Before you begin, you will need to have a primary email address that is different from the one you are currently using.   You can acquire one through your primary internet service provider or other popular email sites.
Then click on the blue "Create New Apple ID" link at this website:

    iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings

Before you delete the iCloud account from your iPhone, turn off each of the features ( contacts, calendars, etc. ) and when prompted, choose to "Keep on My iPhone" if you wish to keep that information.  If you do not want or need any of this, then skip down to the selection below to delete the iCloud account completely.

    Turn iCloud features  off

On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then tap to turn off iCloud features.

When you turn off a feature, you’re asked whether you want your device to keep a copy of your information stored in iCloud for that feature.

Once you have saved the contacts, calendars, etc. that you want from the current iCloud account on your iPhone, then you can delete the current iCloud account from his device.

    Turn off iCloud completely

On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

At this point, I would suggest turning off the phone, and restarting it.  Then, tap on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.  Tap on Add Account.  Tap iCloud.  Now type in your new Apple ID email address and password.

If you choose to create a new iTunes Store account as well, sign out of the current account in Settings > iTunes & App store, and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I hope this information helps ....

    Have a great day!
