How do I recover deleted note from iPad Air?

I have an iPad 2 and recently purchased an iPad Air, as the Air was now synced with my iMac Mini I decided to deleted my notes from iPad 2 but in doing this my notes also disappeared from the Air as well!!! Nightmare can anyone tell me if I can recover my deleted notes please.
