"iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later."

Just recently I have been getting the error "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later." I have gone through the support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2690) and it has done nothing. I have reinstalled iTunes 3 times as well as updating all drivers and reinstalling them. My iPhone has been able to connect to other computers without problem. I cannot sync nor backup. The iPhone is being recognized, but the data bar at the bottom is a single gold bar rather than divided into music/photos/etc.
