Why new version of safari is not released for windows 8 ?

I'm using Safari Browser in my Windows 8 Laptop.

I got the warning message "You're using Safari browser on Windows that we'll soon stop supporting. Please upgrade to one of our Supported browsers."

Will new version of safari will be released for Windows 8?

Safari for Windows may not be upgraded.

It is better to start using another browser of your choice.
