Mail Search Sorting

Is there any was to sort Mail.app search results? Whenever I search for an email using the search bar and some keywords, the app shows the results in a seemingly random order. I'd like to sort them by date if possible. Any idea how to do that?

Hi elminnoPro,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

For OS X, after you enter a search in Mail, you should be able to sort the results using this method:

Choose “Sort by” at the top of the message list, then choose an attribute and sort order. In classic layout, click a column header. For example, to sort messages by sender, choose From.

Mail (Mavericks): Change the messages shown
