My iPad was not charging. I changed cables and charged it in car.  Charged to 39% then drained to shutoff in less than a minute.  Any suggestions?   Worked fine until upgrade in iOS .....

Did you have it connected to power during the upgrade? If so I had a similar issue when I had my iPhone connected to power during a recent iOS update, after the update had completed my phone wasn't fully charged yet had stopped charging. In the end a simple reset did the trick.

To do this with the iPad turned on, hold down both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together until the Apple logo appears on the screen.  Let it come back on and try charging again.

    Good luck,
