Hello, I have iPhone 5 have been using it since July 2013 and suddenly today the screen went black.
I can not switch it on or off, because the screen is black.
What can I do?

Q: The screen on iPhone 5 went completely black
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
