Push notifications often do not alert as they should.

We are finding that push notifications are not functioning as it should. Most of the time no alerts are present but then you unlock your phone and then you are hit with a flood of notifications. Settings are set correctly under "notifications".



Hardware: iPhone 4S

Software: iOS 7.0.5 on most devices. 7.0.6 on the rest.




How can we solve this? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the question. It sounds like there is you are not receiving notifications while your phone is locked. Have you checked to see if Do Not Disturb was accidentally enabled? You will see a "moon" icon in the status bar if it is enabled.


You can disable Do Not Disturb in Settings > Do Not Disturb or in the Control Center as described in the following articles:
