Q: Aperture 3.5 no longer syncs to Flickr?!

This is really weird. I recently upgraded from OS X 10.8.5 to 10.9.2, and from Aperture 3.4.2 (whatever was most current under Mountain Lion) to Aperture 3.5.1. Today I tried dragging a photo from my Aperture library to the Flickr icon under "Shared," and the drag is possible, but the photo is not uploaded. I've tried resynching the entire account, and the sync arrows appear -- but nothing really happens. I don't see any of the usual sync threads in the Activity Monitor, either.

Any idea as to what could be wrong?

Then backup the library and rebuild it - the last option of the first aid tools .

Léonie, you seem to be quite the expert. I used to use the mechanism built in to Aperture to publish photos on flicker, but I seemed to be having problems that edits directly to flickr in Safari would be reflected by changes in my Aperture Library - including changing dates and times. I deleted my flickr stuff in Aperture and now export and use the web upload. Is there a "safe" way to use the built-in flickr mechanism? It is more convenient. Thanks!
