Q: Is there an electronic book of text communications?

I have a completed book and would be interested in ideas on publishing it as an application or ebook where half of the purchase price would be donated to womens shelters. I would give away the beginning chapter free and if buyers are interested in reading more the balance of the book would be sold. Is this possible?

    Taking for granted you now have a paid book account, when uploading your book, you are asked by iTunesProducer to either designate a chapter or provide a sample/ preview book....which is a free download.

     

    During the delivery process you set a price tier and currency for your book. Apple take 30% of all sales..and you also have to deal with your own tax  situation in your country.

     

    Apple will not be involved in any donations to charities other than any Apple may have adopted.

     

    If you decide to donate to charities, donations should be made by you to either its national or local  offices.

    Donations to any charity may also be tax deductible - so you would wise to contact your own tax office for advice.
