delete table from email signature

So, I was attempting to paste in my old email sig to my new phone, and I forgot that I had copied some other content to the clipboard... that content included a table from a webpage.

I've since tried to delete this from the field, inlcuding using select all, trying to put the cursor before and after the table, etc. and I can't manage to get rid of it.

Does anybody have any advice? It seems more than a touch absurd to have to restore the phone to get rid of an accidental paste in the email signature field, but I'm not really sure what else to do.
