32/64 bit AU-Plugins as 64 bit Plugins?

How can i run 32/64 bit AU-Plugins as 64 bit Plugins in Logic X and Mavericks?

Logic Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

You cannot use AU 32bit plugins with Logic Pro X... Only 64bit ones.. as LPX does not support 32bit AU plugins (Logic Pro 9 still does however)


If you wish to use older 32bit only plugins then you should look into using something like 32 Lives... to 'convert' your older 32bit plugins to 64bit versions..

However, most 32bit AU Plugins are now available as 64bit AU versions from the Plugin's website.. so make sure you have updated all that you have to the latest versions and then test.


Once 64bit AU Pligins are installed then you use them as normal via the FX Insert slot or the Instrument slot depending on what type of AU Plugin they are....
