Q: Is the 25,000 song limit fixed in concrete or are there palns to increase the number. That being said I have almost 31000 songs in my library. I own approx 3500 CDs. How do I differentiate between these and iTunes purchases?
I currently have nearly 31,000 songs in my iTunes library. I would like to take advantage of the "Match" feature, but it limits me to 25,000 songs. At this point I don't know how to differentiate between songs that I have purchased through iTunes and songs that I have ripped from the CDs that I own (+/- 3500).
Are there plans to increase this limit? I don't know what to do about this dilemma, short of deleting 6000 songs. That doesn't seem like a viable option (however at this point in my life, I probably don't even know which of some of the old songs I have anymore and probably wouldn't miss them even if I did delete them)
Advice, opinions, or viable options would be greatly appreciated.
