I lost my iphone and after 1 day, I changed my apple id password. However now i'm thinking that it was a bad idea, because maybe "find my iphone" app needs my password. I have already tried to change it with the old password but apple does not allow me to renew my password with the ones that i used within 1 year. Can you please help me?

When you change your password to your Apple account correctly (getting a comfirmation e-mail), it's updated on Apple server, so it will be valid. The password on iPhone will be invalid. FMiP will still work if iPhone has a connection to the Internet.
