Q: AirPlay a video from a iPad mini to an HDTV using AppleTV

If I make a 6 minute video with an iPad min, can I play it using my AppleTV on my HDTV? I tried this with AirPlay set to mirroring and it attempted to load really slowly. Still pictures showed up fine.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.1)

    It will work if your WiFi setup can support streaming video which it sounds like is very much not the case.  Most peoples can't  Streaming video over WiFi rarely works well.  You can add the video to iTunes and play it with the AppleTV menus.
