iTunes 3194 Error When Trying To Update

Question

I'm trying to update my iPod and iPhone to 6.1.6 and 7.0.6. Anyone know how to fix it, I have my HOSTs file to 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Anyone know whats up ???

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.5

Anyone wanting to know how I Corrected this error, I went to the Hosts file at

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

Then I Edited the Hosts File and put a # in front of the file that said

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

so it looks like this now

# 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

then saved the file and Bam!!! iTunes works perfect now and updated my iPod without any 3194 errors

It downloads the update just fine, it just errors out 3194, after it tries to start it

Error 3194:

This device isn't eligible for the requested build

It means that Apple has stopped signing the version of iOS that you have, try downloading the latest iOS version, then try Restore again.
