My iPhone 5 was recently broken and is unusable and I was wondering if I would be able to replace it with the iPhone 5s? I know I can get a replacement iPhone 5 for about $267, is there a similar deal for the iPhone 5s?

They will replace your phone with the identical model.
Apple replaces out of warranty phones with the same model that was turned in. You have at least two choices as I see it.
1. Replace your phone with a like model, pay the out of warranty fee and use that phone
2. Replace your phone with a like model, pay the out of warranty fee, sell the phone, probably for at least the fee you paid, possible more, then purchase a new phone.
