Restore 2008 Macbook to its former glory...

I want to begin using my new Lenovo as my primary computer. I have a 2008 Macbook with pictures, files, etc that I will transfer over to the Lenovo. But how do I wipe clean my Macbook and reinstall Snow Leopard as if brand new? (I upgraded from leopard to Snow Leopard in 2013)

Basically, I want a fresh, clean, Snow Leopard 2008 Macbook to use for the internet and doing iMovie projects and storing pictures. Is that possible? I don't want to get rid of it.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Insert the install DVD, restart with the C key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive, and install a fresh OS.
