In OS X 10.9.x, it is called System "Information" instead of "profile". The app is in your Mac's Utilities folder.
An easy way to find your Utilities folder is via your Mac's Finder > Go > Utility menu command.
Your internal webcam should be one of your Hardware > USB > USB Device Tree > USB Hi-Speed Bus items.

Mar 5, 2014 9:44 AM in response to EZ Jimby AjaVibeke,Thanks! I found the System Information App. In the meantime, I followed another thread that suggested I shut down the Mac and pull the power plug and leave it for 15 seconds before plugging it back into the outlet and starting up the Mac. And that worked to reinstate the internal camera.
Great site with lots of helpful info. Thanks to everyone who posts here.
