Cannot find whatsapp on the app store in India. If somebody can help me with that. Thanks

WhatsApp is available for iPhones only, thus will not be available in the Mac App Store.

You also need to keep in mind not all apps, whether IOS or OS X, are available to all countries. The reasons can be commercial, political or simply that Apple does not feel a particular app is suitable.

Hi,

Are you saying the whatsapp would work only for iphones, because i was able to download bbm on my ipad (iphone version). And if the os is same then why should this happen? If you can please clarify.

There have been reports on the forum of a work around to install WhatsApp on an iPad. You can search for instructions, but the developer has not created an iPad version.
