I just got a new MacBook Air and when I try to connect my iPad Mini to it, it goes BONKERS. I try to choose TRUST from the flashing alert on the iPad, but it won't recognize my tapping. Where do I find the ability to tell the iPad to trust my new MacBook Air

Please explain what you mean by saying your iPad goes Bonkers. What exactly is happening and what do you see on your iPad?

It starts beeping and flashing a dialogue box that asks if this device is safe to connect to. I cannot select OK, as it flashes so quickly.
I Have this problem, too. When connect via USB, MacBook Air iTune flashes quickly, alternating between seeing and not seeing the iPad mini. On the iPad side, it alternates between charging and not charging. This problem remains for both USB ports, and different cables. In contrast, iPhone5 and the same MacBook Air charge and sync normally when connect via USB. Anyone has this problem?
