Final cut pro x doesn't export anymore movies(but it works still fine with exporting sound, video, youtube or vimeo formats)

Hi everyone, hope you can help me with this:

My final cut pro x doesn't export anymore movies.

when I click on the comand E key and want to export something it doesn't do nothing, not even an error notification pops up.

But if I try to export the project in a youtube format for example, it shows the regular options-window and it works fine.

It just happened to change yesterda, since I upgraded to Mavericks osx.

I read about people having issues with this upgrade.

I already resetted the preferences of FCPX but it didn't help.

I also tryed to change the project to a new folder but it didnt work either.

Would apreciate any help,

It is likely the case that the default destination is not set.

Open the preferences window, on the Destinations tab, control-click on the destination that you want to set as the default, and choose, er..., "Make Default". That should bring the shortcut Cmd-E back.

Yes, I know how it should look like, but I am missing the DESTINATION tab..

Mine just looks like that.

What version of FCP X are you using? The screen shot looks like an earlier version of 10.0.x. Some earlier versions do not work properly with Mavericks which you profile lists as your OS. Perhaps you need to upgrade to 10.1.1.

Jim is spot on.

Before you upgrade, take the time to learn about libraries.

Take a look at the excellent free videos from Ripple Training that discuss the new library model, and give specific advice on how to handle the updating of your projects and events.

Things are different - and much better - but you need to prepare.
