I have an old Verizon 4s that doesn't have a wireless plan. When I try to connect it to my home wireless under settings it will not allow me to slide the button to "on". Any solutions? I thought I could use it as an ipod touch at this point.

many thanks. "greyed out" would have never been something I would have thought to plug in.
Good luck. You could also try "grayed out" - hope something useful comes up for you.
